Receive test result notifications directly in a Discord channel. When production monitoring or webhook-triggered group runs complete, TesterArmy posts a summary with links to each run.

Setup

  1. Go to Project → Settings → Integrations → Discord and click Add to Discord.
  2. Choose the Discord server where TesterArmy should install the bot.
  3. Return to TesterArmy and select the channel where alerts should be posted.
  4. Save the channel and confirm that the integration shows the selected destination.

The bot needs permission to view channels, send messages, and read message history in the selected server.

Choosing what to notify

Once Discord is connected, use the Notify on every run toggle:

  • Leave it off (the default) to be notified only when a run has failures.
  • Turn it on to be notified about every run, including ones where all tests pass.

This is set per channel, so Slack, Discord, and Email can each behave differently.

Changing the channel

  1. Go to Project → Settings → Integrations → Discord.
  2. Pick a different channel from the dropdown.
  3. Click Save channel.

If the bot cannot see a channel, check that it has access to the channel in Discord.
